Session Purposes
1. To know about bacteria in general.
2. Classify bacteria according to their characteristics.
3. To know the structures of bacteria according to their external layer.
4. Identify the process for biofilm.
5. To learn about the filamentous structures of bacteria.
6. To know the cycle of a bacterium to form an endospore.
What we did?
1. Our teacher explained in the first hour of class about generalities of bacteria.
2. In the second hour of class the teacher gave the notes to the missing students and the methodology of the work was developed.
What we did for?
1. It was learnt about bacteria because the third term will be introduced with this topic.
How we did it?
1. The explanation was given in slides using the Teams platform.
2. And the missing students were called for grades.
What I learnt?
1. The outer membranes of bacteria.
2. Biofilm formation.
3. Fimbrias and pilis.
4. Cellular inclusions.
5. Endospores.
6. Bacterial phyla.

Session Purposes
1. Present each of the articles chosen by group.
2. Identify each of the microorganisms mentioned in each article.
3. Explain bacterial reproduction and metabolism.
4. Explain each of the phases of microbial growth.
5. Identify each of the phases of fermentation of each of the bacteria.
What we did?
1. Identify the time of generation of the microorganisms.
2. Identify bacterial doubling times.
3. Define the growth curve using the phases of microbial growth.
4. Classify microorganisms and their femermentation cycles in the industry.
What we did for?
1. It was made to carry out bacterial reproduction and metabolism.
2. It was carried out to learn more about the microorganisms that are pathogenic in food.
How we did it?
1. The presentation and explanation of the class was done by means of power point slides and each person shared a screen.
What I learnt?
1. Microbial growth: Bipartition (binary fission).
2. Generation time: G=t/n
3. Duplication times of the: Escherichia coli, Bacillus megaterium, Streptococcus lactis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Rhizobium japonicum & Mycobacterium tuberculosis
4. The growth curve as a function of generation time: A (Fase lag), B (Fase Log), C (Fase pre-estacionaria), D (Fase estacionaria)& finally, E (Fase de muerte).
5. The respiration of microorganisms through the Entner-Doudoroff pathway cycle that carry out different kinds of fermentation.

Session Purposes
1. To learn the different techniques used to count the number of microorganisms in a sample.
2. To be able to differentiate between different enumeration techniques and learn when each should be used.

2. Types of bacterial growth.
3. Different methods for bacterial counting and their procedures.

What we did for?
1. We did it to strengthen the knowledge of the bacteria domain.
2. We did it to find a scientific way about bacterial counts.

1. We did it virtually and the teacher explained the topics in Power Point slides.

Session Purposes
1. Propose explanations in solving microbial counting problems.
2. Establish microbial counting exercises by means of the elements that make it up.
3. Formulate hypotheses in the execution of microbial counting problems.
What we did?
1. We performed three of the eight microbial counting exercises that were left as homework from the previous class.
2. Corrections and suggestions were made by the teacher on the final work.

Session Purposes
1. To expose the different industrial applications of the bacterial domain in the food, environmental and pharmaceutical industries.
2. Explain the different items obtained from the Octavio Arizmendi Posada library in each of the industrial applications.
3. Listen to suggestions made by Mrs. Yomaira for the improvement of our next presentations.
What we did?
1. Each group presented on the different industrial uses of the bacteria. The first group to present was Sebastian - Kilian - Carlos with the food industry, then the group of Verena - Yineth - Laura Valentina with the pharmaceutical industry and finally the group of gabriel with the food industry.
What we did for?
1. It was made to understand the use of bacteria for food development of drugs or fertilizers including advances in society.
How we did it?
1. Each presentation lasted 20 minutes, followed by suggestions and questions from each group.

1. The presentation of the final work began. First group 3 (Verena, Xiomara and Sofia) and then group 1 (Sebastian, Carlos and Kilian) presented their final work for 20 minutes. Finally, profe Vivian and profe Yomaira asked questions to each of the groups.
What we did for?
1. To expose all the learning acquired in class by means of a self-made article.
How we did it?
1. The sustains were done virtually with the camera on.
What I learnt?
1. Through teacher observation we learnt about how to do a better substantiation.
